OUR PURPOSE & CALLING

Throughout history, stories have been told of battles and wars — of victories won and nations fallen. Consider the Roman army: vast, disciplined, and formidable. Their shining armor once lined the countryside in perfect formation. And yet, even in the fiercest battles, they would sometimes retreat. Not in surrender, but to fall back, regroup, and return with renewed strength and strategy.

As Christ-followers, we live each day on a spiritual battlefield. We are called to serve where God leads, to minister with faith and compassion. But in the fight, we often become weary, beaten down, burned out, and in need of rest.

The Shekinah Retreat Center is that place of retreat. We offer a healing space to fall back, catch your breath, refocus your heart, and prepare once again for the battles ahead.
